Cancer Really Sucks!!!
 Cancer Really Sucks!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I'm off to visit my favorite Aunt, went by yesterday and she wasn't looking to good, Hospice has given her less than a week. I have already been to 2 funerals this month and it is really starting to wear me out

Sorry to hear man. I hope she doesn't suffer too much and (ideally) that she gets well, but it sounds like that's a longshot. Enjoy the time you have together.

My step-dad died last night from it. He was doing fine 2 weeks ago, then started a really fast downhill slide. Last night it was over.
Yeah, it sucks. |

Sorry to hear that Byron, I have recently lost two close friends (not to cancer) so I know what you mean by feeling worn out.
I'll say a prayer for you and your aunt.

Beyond 'suck' really.
What really sucks is that our hospitals can find cancer far far better than they can treat cancer. Of course they are willing to tell the patient "your money or your life" ... and proceed to give treatments anyway. The "hope" they sell has a very very high price. . . and not just in the dollars they rake in.

I've lost both my parents to cancer................it sucks. Hang in there Byron.

Thanks everyone, I'm no newbie to Cancer, I lost my Grandmother to it a few years back, and took off a lot of work to be with her & help take care of her, this is her sister, and she looks just like my Grandmother right now
Too make it harder, I lost 2 very close friends & mentors last year, again, spent a lot of time with them, and it is coming up on the day Phil passed last year. Please keep the prayers coming, as she isn't looking very good, just a matter of days, maybe hours Between losing two friends unexpectedly this month, coming up on the 1st anniversary of Phil's passing

Tell me about it! Girlfriend has been going through weekly chemo sessions for metastatic breast cancer since last October. She's doing really well for the time being, but it's not supposed to happen to new mother.

Terrible news.
I lost my father-in-law last summer in cancer complications, he went in for hip replacement and never came out. Comforting words are nice, but it never takes the sting for those left behind. Pray for healing, pray for less pain, pray she is at peace with God and for faith in the Saviour Jesus the Christ.

Byron, I lost my aunt 2 years ago to cancer. At least the real down hill part didn't last long. Very sorry to hear about anyone with this horrible disease.

Hang in there Byron, just lost my mom about 2 months ago and my dad less than a year ago to cancer ...

Sucks big time!
I lost my first wife and my brother to it. A month apart. Wife went through it for 2 yrs. My bro went fast. 6 months.
