You can always buy a hard top for it. Granted, they're not cheap ($800, give or take) but it'd still make the car a good deal.

My neighbor just sold his Mini droptop and bought his brother in law's '91 Miata w/ 32k on the odo. It's a one owner car and his brother in law was looking to get the $2500 that Edmunds says that it is worth.... my neighbor (a very stand up guy ) told him he would give him what he thought it was worth. $5000, and not a penny more. Seems like a lot of car for the money to me.

LOL! Now that's funny! Then again, I gave $3700 for my first one, and totalled it a month later. *some guy decided to turn left in front of me* Insurance gave me the going rate for Miatas in the area and gave me $5400 for it. I bought my '92 B&T (w/ 132k) for $4k. It is far from NICE, but I don't feel like I over paid at all. Great car for the money!
