ALOT of running, and a bungee net out of Jason's Cherokee. The chicken only had one eye so that worked to our advantage.

Too bad my wife wasn't around, she'll have three plucked while everyone else is getting done with their first.
A friend advised me not to sleep with a woman who knows how to butcher a chicken but have had no bad experiences in almost twenty years of doing so. Jim

Very timely post. A friend of mine and myself are going to start doing survivor weekends (I like your name better. Maybe we could be the Western Inconvenieced Man Chapter.).
Ours would consist of ONLY;-) bringing water, beer, guns and fishing poles. If we wanted to eat we would have to catch / shoot it. Stay out for a weekend.

Why pluck the chicken? It takes less than two minutes to skin them. Or you could go native and cook the bird feathers and all. The feathers burn off then after the bird is cooked you peel the burned skin off.
