Oakmont is about 10 miles from my house. I played it about 15 years ago after taking up golf about a year prior. Needless to say I didn't break Miller's 63. The weather really held up. You don't see a week's worth of sun in Pittsburgh. Absolutely beautiful. I've since given up golf. Too much time and money invested for too little reward. At least for me.

In 1996 i won the award for most rounds in the season at my club, i was single and my markets closed at 2:30 each day. Now I live too far away to be a member and I play maybe 25 rounds a year. Oh and I am no longer a member.
