You have at least three instances of iTunes open. Could that have something to do with it? Oh, you have mail!

Hopefully, the iPhone will reduce the number of Post-it notes on your monitors!

Once you get used to two or three monitors there is no going back. Makes it a lot easier to multi-task.

"Hopefully, the iPhone will reduce the number of Post-it notes on your monitors!"

Ha. There are currently 33 small Post-Its of varying degrees of outdatedness surrounding my screen. Must be a record of sorts, but I find Post-Its and notepads are currently more cost effective than an iPhone.

Yeah, but then we wouldn't be able to zoom in and get the passwords that Wayne can't remember.

Have you tried to get the latest upgrade on the "phone tools" program? Its under tools or help and one of the earlier versions had bugs that caused an upgrade.

I really need to get a non-crippled-bluetooth phone to take full advantage of my 770... but in the mean time, I'll just be apt-get dist-upgrade-ing it to the latest greatest

Those Nokia770's are pretty cool. 4.1-inch touchscreen with a 800 x 480 resolution. The prices seem to be falling fast with the release of the N800. What all are you using it for? GPS? Music? PDA?

edit: just realized that's 2.5 times the pixel count of the iphone.

island911 - I use it as my "laptop" away from the office. Calendar/to do, email, web, ssh to servers, etc. Also use it for mp3 when I mow the lawn, travel, etc. Kids like to draw with it while driving, waiting at an office, etc. Get about 2 days of use without using the wireless, non-stop wireless use (say, downloading something big or copying over mp3s) drops battery down to about 4 hours...

i hate how they package these things. while the box itself is pretty cool, does the bag have to ADVERTISE TO EVERYONE what you just got? it's like walking down the street w/ a sign on your back "i have lots of cash in my pocket. please jack me." make it anonymous. generic.
