Few of the terrorists in the last 5 years fit the profile of poor and uneducated

You are sooooooo typical of a California liberal in your attitude toward this, unless of course you are being sarcastic, which is tough to read.

Monkey man, you are a moron.

Ok SM, I got a question for you: If a person makes a statement about a racial or ethnic group which is, in fact, true...is it bigotry or racism?

Point is that it IS Muslims who are waging Jihad against the rest of the world and are a real threat. If it's bigotry in your mind to profile them then you need to rethink some things. OK..not ALL Muslims, but if you have paid attention in the past few weeks you know that a huge percentage of American Muslims directly or tacitly support jihad and damn few have denounced it.

It's nonsense to search Irish Nuns in wheel chairs at airports so as to be PC and not offend the delicate sensibilities of Muslims. It's damn well time to profile Muslims. Be very polite, but do it. They will have to understand and get over it.

Sorry for your past experiences with bigotry...truly.

Mark I would be willing to bet most Americans agree with your viewpoint. I certainly do!

Check out El Al's security record. It's the best in the world. And they rely heavily on PROFILING. They profile for only one reason. It works.

Only if the statement is negative in any way.

It's not about being PC. I was born and raised in Germany. Traveled on a US Military passport till I was 20. Ever go through security in a German airport?

They check everyone. Maybe they profile and check some harder than others but the minimum level of scrutiny makes our "inconveniences" pale in comparison.

My point is if you really want to be safe then DO NOT make distinctions based on profiles. It's stupid. You'll catch who you are looking for but will miss the rest. And it won't be long till an Irish Nun in a wheel chair becomes a "martyr".

Now as far as ALL Muslims being a threat? 22% of the worlds population are Muslim, second only to the 33% who are Christian. If they ALL wanted to get us we'd already be totally fuched.

I thought about that too. So to extend your thought further...in your mind would it be bigotry to say that Jihad is being perpetrated/advocated by Muslims and/or that a significant percentage of American Muslims support jihad against the West?

That would likely qualify as a negative statement.. but it's true and I don't call that bigotry...no way.

Was in Tel Aviv recently. Their security was very good. Went through every page in my passport (both of them) and kept asking questions about every place I had stamps for. After she was finished we talked for a bit and she was nice but while talking to myself and the copilot it was deadly serious. They take no chances with security...

Joe - wouldn;t happen here. The folks in Customs are civil servants. Do you really think they would really work this way? If privately held and highly compensated then you would get a level that was required. It would also reduce the over all loss as well.

You get what you pay for...

Hey, lets start our own religion where we cut up cows and dump the remains on the speakers. 5AM, hell, I'm just getting to bed:mad:

There was an article in a paper a few weeks ago saying that Mohammed is now the second most common name for baby boys in the UK. Looks like they'd have a problem eventually even if they deported all the non-citizens.
So they are a bunch of boxing fans in the UK???

Much more recently, Wayne, there was a Pugh Research Poll which showed that a small but significant number of American Muslims actively support Al Queda. A larger number said they 'quietly support/agree with' Al Queda and another number who refused to answer. Not many at all said they disagree or don't support. Chilling but not surprising given the number of Muslims in this country...that we know of.

Disclaimer: I do not discriminate against other religions, I discriminate against those who advocate violence in the name of a religion.

Here's how to deal with the PC nazis.
Don't say anything negative about the muslims, say negative things about the monsterous murdering muslim extremists and all those that support them.
Prolly includes lots O'the same people, but the bleeding heart liberal bomb targets can't get their panties all bunched up.
