Not the way I like to wake up.

The morning news reported it as a body shop on fire. Turns out it was the building next door. Everything here is fine 'cept for an inch of water everywhere and the smell of burnt wood and air conditioning equipment.
I sure feel like I got lucky and dodged a bullit.

Yowza, close call. Glad you made it through unscathed.

Buy a lotto ticket today. Glad it did not spread to your shop.

Jeez Louise, that would get your heart going. Makes you want to pick up every rag and douse it, huh?

It was a wharehouse for an air conditioning sales company. I was talking to a supervisor who said they responded to a call at 1:45 am with two cars parked outside the wharehouse fully ablaze. They doused those and then got a call about a half hour later that they determined was a false alarm, Then shortly after that the fire alarm inside the building activated and they returned to find the whole place burning. Sounds a little suspicious to me. The place is now crawling with arson investigators, insurance people taking pictures, fire dept. cleaning up and news crews.
My phones are out but my net access is still working.

Thankfully I have the shop camera that I could look in on the place from home. Everything looked fine but the shop and my office was flooded when I got here. Still I'm feeling lucky to only have the flooding.

Garage
Let it dry/air out well.

You do not want any toxic mold things happening
