Which Linux desktop to you like KDE or GNOME
I have been using GNOME but I am about to install KDE because I want to see what the diff is.
Which do you like more KDE or GNOME? |

I prefer KDE. Maybe because I'm so used to Windows. I really like Blackbox as well, even though it'd not like anything else.

I flip back and forth, but have the libs for both installed so I can run apps from either "base". At the moment, I'm using Ubuntu 7.04 at work and home with Gnome...
And yes, [black|open|flux]box work good too

Little bit partial to KDE here, but it's more personal preference than anything.

I use KDE because I can't stand the GNOME file mangler. (Whatever it's called). I'm too lazy to install GNOME and the KDE file mangler at the same time...

I've been a KDE guy since day one. I tried Gnome (and a bunch of the others), but I just couldn't get used to them. KDE seems to have enough adaptability in the look and feel to make it respond exactly like I want it to. It seems consistent and reliable to me. If it caused me problems, I'd consider the alternatives, which I'm sure are just as good, but KDE has run so well for me I see no reason to change.
