If he did that, he would have kicked her out and told her to get a job and her own place long ago. Why do 24 yr. old girls get away with doing stuff no 24 yr. old boy would? My folks would have charged me more than market price for rent if I wanted to live with them after college, just to motivate me to find my own place. My sister, who's still a bum at 33, was living with them for a while after she was 24 - rent free.
