FYI, Jay Leno once told Jesse Ventura - on network television - that he doesn't like Porsches because they aren't "a man's car". I wonder what would happen if that weiner Leno said that to, say, Steve McQueen, Robert Redford, or Paul Newman... |
If Leno does not like Porsches (he pronounces it Poorsh)...I dont care.
He does comedy on Sundays at a little club near by. He always drives some really cool, sometimes rare car and parks it right out front. That is how you know he is performing, if you see a rare car outside. |
Leno ...the man is 'living the dream'! Great gig (TV $$$) allows him to indulge his passion for cars. We should all be so lucky!
If you ever listen to him being interviewed, while walking amongst his vast car collection, you will hear a man that KNOWS cars. Lots of wealthy people can afford to collect cars ...he gets his hands dirty! |
I am the new Steve.

Steve McQueen's classic Ferrari coming up at auction soon:
"Most guys who buy a Ferrari want to be noticed. Eric Clapton owned a Ferrari 250 GT Lusso. It's a rock star's kind of car. That's why so many come in red or canary yellow. Even the understated ones are in a threatening black or opulent silver. But McQueen got his in dark brown and accented it perfectly with beige leather..." http://www.nysun.com/article/60245 |
