How many on your ignore list?

From time to time I've run across posters why have annoyed me enough to end up on my ignore list. Some simply don't have anything to say that I consider worth reading, some are just trolls, etc.
So the question is, how many names are on your ignore list?

legion 08-12-2007 11:12 AM

No one...but some have come very, very close.

LakeCleElum 08-12-2007 11:32 AM

Only FastPat when he was around.....He got under my skin.....

kstar 08-12-2007 11:55 AM

No one on ignore here.

Those who ignore excessively seem weird to me, FWIW.

Best,

Kurt

futuresoptions 08-12-2007 11:58 AM

Nah, I am a peace and love kind of guy LOL, figure I want to hear from everyone......

pwd72s 08-12-2007 12:04 PM

And then go and brag about it, like they think they're "hurting" someone or something....... Too funny, gives good laughs.

Porsche-O-Phile 08-12-2007 12:14 PM

Nobody here.

mattdavis11 08-12-2007 12:58 PM

I can see you, but I have no idea what you have to say. It's tough keeping up with the influx of newcomers, so unfortunately they get through for the first couple of posts.

J/K!:D

Scooter 08-12-2007 01:16 PM

Currently only one.

Social experiment?

none on my ignore. It's really easy to skip over people I already know it's not worth reading.

Rot 911 08-12-2007 01:57 PM

None. Never have.

fingpilot 08-12-2007 03:07 PM

Perhaps someone could email me with what this thread is all about.... I suspect it's something about ignore lists, but everyone that has posted so far is on mine.....

tabs 08-12-2007 06:39 PM

Only PWD is on my ignore list. I don't talk to people who don't have Porsches ....

cool_chick 08-12-2007 06:49 PM

That's too bad for you, Tabs, because he, long ago, made peace with you.

tabs 08-12-2007 06:59 PM

OHHH and I don't need no stinkin ignore list to just ignore Cold Chicken....aka Edith Bunker!

cool_chick 08-12-2007 07:02 PM

Shrugs.

Sorry...but don.t you sorta appreciate a guy who says, right up front, that he is "happily married" ?

Indeed, I do.

FWIW, you're cool by me.

Moses 08-12-2007 07:29 PM

Just one on my list. It took a lot of effort on his part to get there, so he's staying.

Ditto. Apologies for my long ago rant...

cool_chick 08-12-2007 08:15 PM

Ah, no need, I can be a PITA too. I don't even remember what it was about....LOL.....do you?

You can imagine how surprised i was when I read the whole thread in 10 minutes. It helps when most of the religion bashing tards are on your ignore list.

Seems like a few are on yours.

None on mine, seems pointless to be part of a forum if you want to ignore people.

You should go to the Dutch bishop forum. Someone's actually BRAGGING about it. hahahahaha. Yikes, I'd be embarrassed....

on-ramp 08-19-2007 06:47 AM

ok, who voted "more than 30"? :)

btw, all of you are on my ignore list. I can only see my own posts.

my guess is it's mostly older people, who don't quite fully get this Innernets thing.

dhoward 08-19-2007 07:10 AM

Ignoring people on OT takes all of the fun out of it...

sammyg2 08-19-2007 07:23 AM

Since you went to all the trouble of quoting from a different thread, yes there are people on my ignore list.
Here, as in society, there are people I care for and people i don't care for. I pick the people I associate carefully outside this board and i do the same here.
Maybe it's due to how I see the human race.
At rare times humans are capable of incredible good but our natural tendency is just the opposite. Greedy, selfish, lying, that is our nature and only when we rise above it so we demostrate our worth.
Suppose for a minute that there are UFOs and aliens visiting our planet (there aren't IMO). If I were one of them and I was observing the human race, I would conclude that we are a flawed race, parasites on the planet, pests that need to be erraticated much like we view disease and harmful bacteria.

Because of that view I am less than patient with those who exemplify the bad in society and admire those who demonstrate the good.
I would really like to see our race grow and improve to the point where our wisdom matches our intelligence and I am bothered when I see people who are standing in the way of the progress. Instead i see people who are going the other way. People with little or no morals. People who would screw others over for their own benefit without a second thought. People who blindly defend murderers and deny thet the murderers are evil and deny that they exist at all. People who's very existance drags down our race and society and country. They most often post an opinion based on a hidden adgenda designed solely for their personal benefit at the expense of others. Illegal immigration is a good example. Blind support of terrorists is another, ultra-liberal democrats, etc.
That dishonesty angers me. Too many are concerned with getting something for nothing. "Tax the rich and give to me because I'm too lazy or dumb or uneducated t get rich by myself". Bah. The lazy and uneducated haven't earned anything except poverty and that is what they deserve. Not a free ride on the backs of others. Those who feel that it should bbe welfare for all have helped to create the reliance on welfare, the perpetual increase on hte need for welfare. It is spiralling out of control and all they can say is that we need to give them more. Don't they see the maddess of their own actions and words? Don't they realize that by blindly supporting more and more welfare they are condemning generations to relying on welfare to survive? They are the problem, not the solution.

I don't enjoy being exposed to that kind of hypocracy and dishonesty as all it does is reinforce me negative view of mankind. Instead i would prefer to focus on the better half, the people who aren't so bad. Just as i don't associate with thieves, criminals, liars and lowlifes in my day to day social circles, I don't wish to associate with them here or anywhere. They have no credibility so what they have to say is without merit.

Even if someone is on my ignore list i have the option of viewing their posts. I just do that selectively. Some I check often but when it comes to a small group of others I kick myself in the butt for even bothering to glance at their drivel and lies. I am better off not reading their BS as is the rest of the world. I shudder to think that these people may actually have influence on others and I hate that thought. The thought they they are intentionally dragging our race or our society or our country down into the muck where we may not be able to recover.

Shaun @ Tru6 08-19-2007 07:34 AM

Geezus, I thought he was talking about me until he mentioned the word Liberal!

Moneyguy1 08-19-2007 08:37 AM

No one on my ignore list. I can learn from everyone. Even a bad person can serve as a good example!!

tabs...sometimes, just sometimes, you border on being "liberal" on some issues. I do not think one can be consistently one way or the other and retain their sanity.

cstreit 08-19-2007 08:41 AM

Just one.. me. I can't believe some of the drivel I post some times...
