Wayne-

Understand the limited posting ability. Just wished I could reply to the guy with the glass problem and the guy with the landlord problem as I felt I could help them out

Hey Marcus, thanks for welcoming me to the forum. I was looking for a car until a couple weeks ago when my wife gave me a 75 911s as my 42nd birthday gift along with some tickets to willie nelson. Just need to install a new seat belt, some new valve covers & hood shocks and I'm good to go. Also went to skip barber's high performance driving school last week and it has given me the bug.

Best'

Dale

That is indeed a lovely color! Congrats!

And also congratulations on a wife like that! Is she for real !!????

Anyway, as you probably already noticed, this forum is everything you need. Particularly if you like DIY projects. The archives (search button) is huge!

Welcome lookin!

Wayne, can you disclose the limitations and reasoning behind them? I understand, I'm just curious.

I don't think I ventured into the dark pit of OT until I'd been in the tech forums a few months...

Hey, thanks for the compliments. The previous owner took great care of the car and I plan on doing the same.

I still go out to the garage and check it out. Also da wife just let me know her favorite room in the house is the garage. (no kiddin)

We also just signed up for the porsche club ground school and are hoping to go to the Thunderhill and/or Laguna Seca DE.

Going to Seca on Saturday for the historics.

I'll let you guys know how the DE goes and post some pics of the historics next week.

Best'

Dale

Yes, I still find myself just going to take a look at mine in the garage. I don't think that will change. Welcome aboard and watch out for the slippery slope that lies just ahead.
