Hehehe...'Flippin Sweeet!'

Wonder how it drives and shifts...think about the extra couple of feet of throw now...kinda like a 914 linkage now.

In the late ‘60s when Dick Troutman built the 4-door for the Texan, I built that stretch in my mind as a ‘thought experiment.’ It is fun to see that someone actually did it – 30+ years later. In about ’71 Dick and I talked about it and drew up plans on dinner napkins.

I wonder who built it? Probably not Troutman Barns.

Best,
Grady

Clay,

Wasn't this a Troutman Special...

Whilst this was what Porsche thought of it all, back in the 90s.

But they built the 993 instead
