Wow. Sorry to hear of this.

Both of my parents are gone. I'm sorry, but nothing I can say will make it any better. Many people will say things that do not help. Just try to remember that they're doing their best in a difficult situation.

I'm sorry.

I don't think there is ever an easy age for having your parents pass... Damn, my best wishes and sympathy. The hurt will always be there, but in time, it will hurt less. Hang in...

Very sorry for your loss and my condolences. I was "orphaned" at 45. Can't imagine it happening at 21. Words can't do much at a time like this.... sorry.

Sorry,

That sucks.

It's been a year and 2 weeks since my father passed.

Hang in there.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I don't know if there's ever a "good" time to lose your parents. But it does seem more unfair when it happens at a younger age. Hang in there. Do you have any other siblings?

Sucks, plain and simple. With time it gets a little better. If you have Brothers or Sisters, spend some time with them and tell your favorite stories about him. If not, take you best girl out and crack a bottle with her and tell her about your ol Man. If you don't have a lady then grab some of your guy friends and tell them that you want to spend a few hours toasting Pops memory. It did all of it. That helped when my Mom died awhile back. A few shots doesn't help but it also doesn't hurt.

Hang in there, it's gonna hurt, but you can get through it and back into the swing of things.

I lost the man who was to by my father in law 3 years ago. My wife(an only child) was 20 at the time. We knew it was coming but it still hurts. She still picks up the phone to call him on one thing or another, or tries to buy him some tool/nic-nak that he'd like. Hang in there.

Sorry for your loss. It is a long process passing one stage after the other. Take one hour and one day at a time.

Great advice from Mike H, have a beer and remember the good times you had. There's nothing that anyone can say to make it hurt any less, only time. Stay strong, you'll get through it. While it may not make you feel any better, he has moved onto a better place.

Sorry to hear. Always difficult to deal with the death of love ones. Hard to believe it is the natural order of things, but we must be strong....

You are quite young, so evaluate your life on how to live and give back to the world in a way that would make them proud... Just my two cents...

Be strong........

Awful news. Terrible to lose your mother at such a young age. Our thoughts are with you.

When young men lose their parents, it's common for them to "backslide". It's a vulnerable time for you. Don't get lost. If you start to feel depressed reach out to your friends or even get professional counseling. Stay away from heavy drinking and avoid drugs. Stay focused. Make your parents proud.

Again, so very sorry for your loss.
