Lots of shady people, flakes, convicted felons, etc. in the 914 arena.

Items were relisted (more inventory???) and this time sold for $96 plus $9.87 in shipping. Hmm, I might have list some on Ebay and have Pelican drop ship them to the winning bidder for a $15 profit.

I have bought both ways but as many have said; you got to do your homework. Whats amazing is that many bid on items that cost less elsewhere especially if you add shipping costs. Pelican has free shiping over $70; group purchases and save on the shipping. 968 door handles are aonther example. You can get them at Sunset imports. The list goes on and on.

Got do to the research.

Oops, I bought one of those. I wish I had known the story.

Ebay's shipping calulator is really screwed up. I've been watching a few items for my garden railroad and have noticed many sellers mentioning this problem. I guess my auctions have fallen victem to this problem too. I got this pleasant email this morning...

Dear airbostongraphics,

You are ****ing joking with $68 shipping right?????????????????????????? People like you should take advantage of the 2 for 1 shotgun special at KMart and end your life! It cost about $10 - $15 at most to ship your great master piece...NOT in the US! GET A LIFE!

Geez, I only asked for a couple more dollars for a box!
