I thought you wanted to move to Arizona? Here's one of your new neighbors...

And wasting all that good protein... sauteed with a little butter and garlic... it is quite the delicacy.

There are children starving in China yano.

I will normally pick up reasonable sized ones with my hands to throw outside, but anything bigger than a quarter and I'm a little reluctant. Anything the size of this one is definitely going to be a 'catch it in a glass' job.
There must be some reason people find them so threatening, I wonder what it is?

Yes, I thought my wife and babysitter were exaggerating when they said it was the size of a small mouse, but no, they were right. This thing is about 3" long!

What is it? It's SoCal, so I assume it's poisonous...
We used to have those in Hawaii. We'd be walking on some trail and WHAM! right in our face. tangled in the web with the spider on us, screaming like a bunch of girls.

But that one was nothing compared to the "Cowboy"/ Cane spiders that were the size of your hand! and could cover the distance from one room to another in seconds. Sometimes even running across your face as you were sleeping! The females would carry there egg sack the size of a nickel under there body. It did not slow them down.

Well, I'm just glad I'm not Wayne's neighbor in this case...
