Even now you are mixed up, you need to go back and read the post.
Not a problem, I understand, and no matter what you say, the guy wasn't convicted of anything. You need to find another example. Sorry you guys are so prejudiced against California, I mean we did invent the BOWL GAME. On New Years Day. But the east coast can't handle it and all the votes are there so they just made it a nothing game. Even though it was just a PAC 10-Big 10 game, it just had toooo much coverage.

Matt...perhaps just a wee bit of tradition? Do you know where the first bowl game ever was held, what it was called? Lemme give you a hint...it wasn't Wichita, and it wasn't called the corn bowl....

The least you could do is be creative........we don't grow much corn in KS.

Woo freakin who. So the Rose Bowl is the sole property of USC? Hey, they can have it. If the PAC 10 commissioner has his way, he'll drop out of the BCS if they institute a 5th national championship game. PAC 10, afraid of playing the best teams in the nation from OUTSIDE their conference? Big shock there.............

I wouldn't go bragging too much about inventing bowl games. If ya'll (southern colloquialism, translates to you guys) hadn't screwed up the works, we'd already have a playoff system. And USC STILL doesn't play anybody.

I think that USC should have beat us by more than they did and I think they should go down in the rankings. Callahan is on his way out he has 2 years left.. then we can get back to Midwest football instead of playing like west coast limp wristed pansy's.

Did you notice the 3rd/4th string players for USC in the second half, they must have played everyone that suited up. So Nebraska scored a couple times, it gave the USC backups some practice. I don't think Pete is into running up the score like some other coaches. He doesn't need that to feel good.
I guess if some of the limp wristed teams like Nebraska and Teneesseee declined to play USC they would have to play the big guys.
There is always next week. Are they scheduled to play a good team next week?
Or will it be another "over rated" bunch of limp wrist pansies?

slakjaw 09-18-2007 07:53 AM

I do get sick of hearing "Nebraska has an easy schedule" LOL you Kalifornians are weird. What big guys are you talking about? What if Nebraska told you ******* limp wristed west coasters to **** off? Then you would have to play "hard" teams and we would all have to hear you cry and moan.

Did you read my post?

slakjaw 09-18-2007 08:11 AM

Yes. again, LOL you Kalifornians are weird. Rankings don't mean too much anyways.

I land at LAX in a few hours.

sammyg2 09-18-2007 08:25 AM

I find it amusing that fans of the loosing team are calling the winning team wimpy because the winning team didn't run up the score on them.
The USC running backs were getting 15 or 20 yards a carry so regularly that it had me laughing out loud. I would be embarrased if I was on the other team. If USC wanted to run up the score they could have just kept running the ball with their starters and rushed for 10 touchdowns.

scottmandue 09-18-2007 08:33 AM

Don't hate the player... hate da game! :D:p:D

pwd72s 09-18-2007 08:43 AM

Yeah...calm down guys, it'll all work out come January. After all, the B(c)S runs things well, right?

Don't beat around the bush. Go ahead & spit it out. List the hitters on the USC condom's schedule. And leave out the crap about people being scared to play 'em. Gimme the list & we'll talk some more.

Some real juggernauts there.

Considering that LSU plays FL and OU plays UT in the next couple of weeks, I'd say that USC has it pretty damn easy.

Mule 09-18-2007 09:44 AM

Let's see, 3 ranked teams and at least 5 nobodys. No wonder the mascot wears a skirt.

onewhippedpuppy 09-18-2007 09:49 AM

Get past Cal and Oregon, and your second string can play out the rest. Counting NU, only three ranked teams.

LSU: 5 ranked, several highly, as well as a couple of fringe teams.

FL: 5 ranked.

OU: 3 ranked, the weakest of these three. But, many of the other Big 12 teams are still quite good.

Mule 09-18-2007 10:33 AM

They don't call it the ******* Athletic Conference for nothing. Hike when the energy's right dude!
