The Cat and the Pelican Parts Box
A box from Pelican Parts came in yesterday, our cat tried to get in it. She then sat on it as I had placed it on the dining room floor. When I went to move the box to the living room couch so I could open it, I carried the cat lying on the box, she would not move. Acted like she owned it and it was her new toy or possession.
Our cat likes plastic, so much so she often licks it. She was licking the cardboard box full of Porsche parts from Pelican Parts because they use plastic air filled pillows along with crushed paper as packing material. She wanted to get into the box, which was fun for the wife and myself. That's hilarious - I thought ours was the only one with the plastic obsession thing. It's strange - Charlie (the white one) doesn't care about plastic. He does like boxes though - open ones. He's always curious about those - and bags. Bonnie (the grey half-siamese, half-persian one) is the plastic-licker. Throw her a plastic bag or sheet of bubble wrap and she'll be in heaven for hours.

Somewhere there is a cartoon of a very fancy cat bed with the box next to it and the cat in the box.
Don't get me started on the strange things my cats do... people are amazed that they respond when I call their names... I had one cat that played fetch.

Rick,
You stole my cat or must have adopted her twin sister.  I will take her back as she will eat you out of house and home. Here is the newest addition to the family. Unfortunately he came very sick and when I settle with the vet next week I am probably going to be out SSI's and a M&K muffler that I have been thinking about getting.

My cat Louie plays fetch for hours. Throw a furry mouse toy, he brings it back. He tries to get us to play while we are asleep because we find furry mice around us on the bed in the morning.

this is not what you want to see first thing in the morning. She is my cat (or I should say I am her human) She can run on her hind legs, when she does it, she has her front legs out in front of her, and looks like a Jesus lizzard. She will chase Beth through the house like that. I think it's funny, scares the hell out of Beth
