Pussy Hair
Damn pussy hair is everywhere. We try to minimize it by vacuuming often and even have a Roomba scooting around every once in awhile, but the airborne hair is everywhere. Anyone have experience with some type of air filter that will pull the hair out of the air? Any other ideas?

We brush our cats often, a brush called a "slicker brush"...it helps. A "hepta" filter bag on the vaccum, etc. Hey, cleaner than a dog....

shave that pussy, the pussy likes it, you will like it and your friends will be happy that you now have a nice pussy without any pesky hair.

Whatever you do, don't try to vacuum the loose hair off the cat....
My 12 year old can explain why... ![]() angela

Funny, but this thread is exactly what I thought it would be about.

My ex had a Persian cat who would get clipped every year in the summer. I distinctly remember him looking about as pissed off as this one does. I think he knew he looked stupid and had this same "I'm not going to forgive you for this" expression.

Not to mention they probably feel really vulnerable without the fur. When cats fight (biting, scratching) or play, the fur actually protects them. Shave it off and I'm sure they know they're more likely to get hurt.
Sometimes necessary though - surgery and stuff.

We do the shave thing, but its dang expensive and the hair grows back in no time. I'm looking for some type of HEPA air filter that has really, really good suction that will move the air around the house and direct the loose, floating hair into the filter. I've heard the Sharper Images air filters are bogus. Anyone know which one really works?

Funny a** thread. I have a couple of suggestions. If you want the air to be circulated in the house, a whole house fan is the way to go. They can suck all the bad air out of the house in usually 10-15 minutes. Now as far as the hair thing, I would get a Craftsmen Shop Vac with a HEPA filter.
