Car Porn

Just came across these videos of some sort of charity event that was held last Sunday at Lamborghini Calabasas. Very cool stuff, lots of Lambos, F-cars, CGTs, etc. Even a Veyron.

Must have been a lot of fun. Wish I'd known. Enjoy:

It's interesting to see the Enzos and CGTs and an SLR stacked up like so much wood, and then in rolls the pinnacle predator -- the Veyron.

Cool.

Yea. Must be nice to be top of the vehicular food chain - even in company like that. Like a den of tigers and cheetahs and panthers. . . and in strolls a lion.

Awesome. In that crowd, the E46 M3, Corvette, GT3 RS, and 930 look absolutely average.

Cool videos - thanks for sharing!

To my eye, the Enzo's taut sculpted forms relate to each other to form a svelte "fuselage" on wheels, creating a vehicle whose calculatedly cutting presence make it blindingly obvious that its primary reason for existing is pure speed ( the bark of its exhaust......mmmmmusic!).

In comparison, the other cars (the Maser/Enzo excepted) visually meld together like so many self consciously carved bulbous bars of boutique soap; fast, yes - and certainly much more genteel appearing and more "socially acceptable" for parking under the country club portico than the dangerous looking Enzo.

The two-toned Veyron paint job only serves to give it a bit of a disjointed, patched together look. A light bar off of one of the CHP cruisers wouldn't have looked all that out of place on its roof. I'm seriously considering selling mine and buying some Enzos in assorted colors (the Maser's wing is too over the top for me).

Sigh. That's what life is like in SoCal. My office faces a busy street. While driving in today, there was a new (no plates yet) GT3 parallel parked a block away. Yesterday, I think about 3 or 4 Lambos drove by my window, as well as a couple F-cars.

Awesome video. That cruise down the highway with all the exotics looks like something straight out of a video game. I think I counted 4 CGTs in the video that were all the same color, which made them look boring compared to the other cars.

Not in my eyes, the Vette, GT3, and 930 where still looking fine.

Here's my 944 with a bunch of F-cars. No Enzo's, but there where two F40's.

Owner of this BB has a 930.

That BB is hot as hell. If I could own any F-car it'd either be a 250 GTO or a BB, in that order. Or maybe an FXX.
