The Porsche of toilets...is there one?

We are looking to replace a few of the toilets in our house.

Every time I look inside one I shudder at the plastic, tiny chains, rubber bands and other crap parts they use in these things.

Can anyone recommend a really high-quality toilet?

The best I have found (and others according to a recent post) is the line-up from Toto.

Porsche toilet? Below is the closest I could find

Not sure, but having toilet seats with dampers so they don't slam shut with a thud is actually a really nice feature to have.

If you can stop up a pressure fed toilet, you should see a doctor quick.

Yeah, smuggle 'em in from canada...they still allow tanks with enough gallonage to actually flush!

Don't even have to smuggle. They allow you to bring here for "personal" use...pun intended.

Might want to try the Gerber ultra flush. This thing could damn near suck your colon out! It's based on the same design as their commercial tanked flusher but with sound insulation.
