Propane tanker go BOOM!
About 8,000 gallons of propane went up in flames yesterday in Tacoma, WA.

Nobody killed. One truck driver is still critical. Made a mess of traffic for several hours, but the side streets were moving along just fine.

Wow.. kaboom!
A few years back, I opted not to plumb natural gas for our barbeque because propane was cheap. Then we poured a new concrete slab between our gas meter and the barbie. It now costs ~$60 a pop to fill our three 5 gallon propane tanks. Another brilliant choice by me... not! |

i'm sure it was kinda surreal if your were watching it, you can see they were far enough away where it took a second for the shockwave/sound to hit them going by the camera footage
