Propane tanker go BOOM!

About 8,000 gallons of propane went up in flames yesterday in Tacoma, WA.

Nobody killed. One truck driver is still critical. Made a mess of traffic for several hours, but the side streets were moving along just fine.

Wow.. kaboom!

A few years back, I opted not to plumb natural gas for our barbeque because propane was cheap. Then we poured a new concrete slab between our gas meter and the barbie. It now costs ~$60 a pop to fill our three 5 gallon propane tanks. Another brilliant choice by me... not!

i'm sure it was kinda surreal if your were watching it, you can see they were far enough away where it took a second for the shockwave/sound to hit them going by the camera footage
hope no one was killed of course.
