Rocket Science - test your Pinball Making Skills
Great site to waste a few hours on!
http://www.globalspec.com/BrainStrainer/?frmtrk=CR4digest A cross between Rocket Science and Pinball with an emphasis on Pinball. Pretty Cool. I tried it out and did OK as a novice but I just don;t have the time to try to be an expert right now. ![]()

Wow - very impressive! I think the trick is to use the least amount of parts and get the highest score. Also, although your score was very high it still was in the tops. That makes me wonder just how high the top scores are.

On paper, your design scores high in achievement but the application fails - sounds like no child left behind and the standardized testing of third graders!

I call this one my Big Bang Theory. Basically I am playing the odds that the ball will eventually make its way to the launch button. I have no idea how it will ge there but I think it might after a little while.
![]() It took about 3 minutes. LOL! Back to real work now. ![]()

There is a little pattern of blocks that fits into four squares. It runs like this:
Top Left: Small Bumper Top Right: Small Bumper Bottom Left: #5 Power ram pointing Right> Bottom Right: Large Round Use the rubber ball and once it enters the pattern from the top it will be trapped for a couple of minutes. While it is trapped the ball bonces round very fast, quickly accumulating points before exiting to the right. You start to think the ball will never come out, but it does. If you can set up a couple of these patterns so the ball runs from one to the other before getting the ball to the launch button you will be in decent shape. Wow, I'm a dork!

I tried it and I timed out - I will have to mess with it some more. This is a great link for kids as well.
