The morning started out with me planting a Magnolia in my front yard. A few friends stopped by a few hours before the game. After I had the tree in, my Wife thought I did such a good job, I should put another one in the ground. She didn't want to be inside while I worked and he kids were playing with other kids so she moved one of the small TVs out into the garage so she could watch and listen to the pre-game while we planted the second tree. Pretty soon more people came by, beers in hand than Margeritas. The game started and the kids kept playing. I finshed the tree at half time...

Sounds a lot like the time we put a sprinkler system in the front yard. It went from Rototiller and sod, to lawn chairs and beer/tikilya, with a "trumpeting" contest with the leftover pipe at about 1:00 A.M. It's nice having neighbors like these.

You should have come out to Phoenix while I was flying the owner of the Phoenix Suns and AZ Diamondbacks. We had all the suite passes we could ask for and had a very nice time.

I watch the games each week in my media room. 118 inches of high definition glory with a sofa and cold beer in the fridge. This weekend we had some friends over for the game, I made Buffalo wings. We also had chips and queso, pretzels, peanuts, etc. Yum.

I'd take the box with a loved one and friends.

In L.A., you'd get shot -- or arrested -- doing something like that in your driveway.

Hey, it's a 16 game season - you can try it a different way each week.
All good.

That reminds me of my driving instructors favorite joke... "Did you hear about the architect that had his house made backwards... ...so he could watch the television" Fortunately he taught me how to drive as well as being a bad infulence.

Lube,
Probably the only thing I miss about living in a neighborhood is captured in your pics...

That's awesome - either would be fun, but for me personally I'd go with the box. That looks like a heck of a fun time!

Yeah, now that I think about it - for a seat in a box in Texas stadium I just might be willing to sit in front of Craig.

You know, now that I think about it, i'll probably just wait until half-time to take care of that particular activity. Too big a risk of upsetting the chip bowl.
