Just got back from the bars...it's my 21st!

Pelicans! Celebrating my 21st birthday...I'm so stoked. Normally my birthday's suck, but this one, well this one is where it's at. After Fraternity Chapter Meeting me and some of the brothers went out to the local bar (Pazzos). Been shooting Crown and am feeling no pain. Pazzos closed and my brothers had to head home, but I'm thinking about heading out again. Surely a few more doubles couldn't hurt...?

By far, the best birthday, ever Have a good night ya'll,

Gavin

Tip: Drink lots of water tonight when you get home. You may have to piss like a race horse in the morning, but you'll be feeling better. Don't drink and drive or ride either.

Um, didn't you go out last night at midnight? Jeez, my friends took me out twice. BTW, when I was in college, it was custom for a buddy to 'buy' (usually they were free to the B-day person) the first drink and it used to be tradition to buy a Bull Shot or other nasty shooter.

Have fun! Be safe, keep a trashcan by your bed tonight and don't worry, the room really isn't spinning.

Oh I got the water thing down, no worries on that one. Thankfully I ate right before I went out. First time all day.

Slodave, I tried to go out at midnight! The bar stopped serving at 11P, I guess it's some kind of law or something in Lexington. In any event, I set my alarm for 6A this morning to get get a beer, but it was too cold, so I slept in

I only paid for I think 3 drinks, so I'm doing alright The other ones, 2 female friends bought for me. I'm going out this weekend with the whole Chapter to really celebrate.

I've traditionally had really bad birthdays, not that they mean that much, really, but this one was great. My oldest brother called, and he had wanted to drive down (from Chicago!) to take me out, but he wasn't able to get off work. It's the thought that counts, though, and that meant a lot to me. Having good friends by my side really made the day wonderful, though. Plus, the kitchen closed early so I got a free shot of Crown:-d.

Everyone else had to go home, tests and what not this week, but I'm still going strong. If only I can find another bar that's open...

PPOT, this doubles for you.

With the water, take 4 advil and a bunch of B12. Then, right when you wake up, slam your cola drink of choice. Works like a charm for me.

Congratulations!

Ah, to be half my age again! Actually glad I am not. I am twice as happy now with less than half the amount of alcohol.

drunk my arse. If you can type, you arent even trying. You are only 21 once. If you dont wake up in a pool of vomit, dont dare show your face here again. Now get off the interweb and start slurring and banging into walls. Its your god given right, in fact, its your duty.

And Happy Birthday.

Considering my party days started at 14, by my 21st I was over it. I went out to dinner with my girlfriend (now wife), and another couple. Bought a beer with dinner, that was my thrill. When you grow up in a college town, and have been going to bars for years, it loses it's novelty.

My 21st went well until the guy who ordered me a glass (not shot, glass) of old granddad.

From that point, I somehow ended up playing basketball (which I NEVER do, and am probably the worst ever) against another fraternity. By myself. Not quite sure how that worked out.

I definitely didn't do 21 shots though- by 8 or 9 I would be finished, so it probably ended around there.

Hopefully slowtoady didn't decide to call any old girlfriends...
