pink freakin' cars

What is up with pink cars?
I've seen 4 different models over tha past few weeks in different cities.

1 was a Grand Am driving very dangerous. I called 911 to report the clown. I had to repeat myself a couple of times to the dispatcher. "Yes, Ma'am, a Pepto-Bismol pink Grand Am with no license plate driving east bound on M46 using all three lanes".

i was in SouthWest Michigan last week and saw a pink late model Malibu.

Just today, I saw a pink Escort.

These aren't Mary Kay pink. They are bright pink. They actually look like it was a decent paint job, too.

Saw Angelyne drive by on Sunset Blvd in her pink Corvette a couple months ago. Course, she's been driving pink cars for the past 25 years, or so.

Last time I saw her she looked okay from about 50 yards, but up close looked to be about 300 years old. And that was maybe 7 or 8 years ago.

Ok, I get the pink P-cars and even the Miata being a race car but what would posess a person to paint your average car pink?!!!!!

I think a person can win a pink car by being the top seller of Mary Kay products. Maybe you just saw a gaggle of Mary Kay winners.

Saw her in a grocery store in Malibu with some weird looking boy-toy. From three isles away, you wonder. But up close, "nasty" is an understatement. I actually felt sorry for the old bag; here she is, trying to play her game when the game obviously ended decades ago.

Around 15 years ago, this was my truck.

Paint was magenta. Later, painted the wheels and bumpers green.
Straight pipes turned out the side.

The most obnoxious thing on 4 wheels.

All Miata's should be pink, regardless.

And the people who paint their cars pink (or purple, or bright metalflake lime green) are most likely the same people I see around here with cars painted in cartoon "themes" (Tweety Bird, Tazmanian Devil, etc.)

My town had a bubble gum pink (as opposed to the ddp pink from the R1100S forum) Neon for a time but I haven't spotted it lately. The times I saw the thing it was piloted by a pink dressed female so it appeared to be a lifestyle kind of trip.
