If I were trying to land accounts from the Chinese, my written Chinese communications to them would be better than that. I couldn't personally do it, but I could make sure it was done.

I always wonder about all those terribly mangled English communications, which come even from very large Chinese and sometimes even Japanese companies. In the *entire* company, they don't have anyone who can understand English??? Or they can't just hire an English speaker to spend 5 minutes to review what they wrote to make sure it makes basic sense?

Ha, Ha; kinda hit home for me...... I was in China doing business and I must've just butchered their language!!! I can only imagine.

My wife grew up in Montreal; she breaks out laughing everytime I speak my Western straight "A" French........

I actually love all types of accents; one of my partners does the very best East Indian Accent that I've heard, but he grew up on the Coast.

True, yet when I do have my work product sent over to Asia major or minor as well as Europe and South America it is translated proper.

Although I am tempted to look him up if I am ever in his neck of the woods - I sure he show me good time...
