If you like these English ales have you tried 1879 bottle conditioned? Or Fullers ESB? And you guys in CA have access to the ultimate bitter, Rogue Brutal Bitter--n/a in Texas. All dang good beers, especially if you're likely to drink more than a few and want to stand up later and feel fine in the morning. Lowish alcohol and carbonation make for easy session drinking. Tonight for me was a maker's and coke though. Wanted a big boy drink--just one. Jack |

Now you guys made me thirsty. Snow's on the ground, it's 10 degrees, I'm thinking The Balvenie 15. Maybe Lagavulin. Either way, it will be consumed in a nice crystal glass and consumed in front of the fireplace.
