I don't thik it is that bad. I see possibilities.

Of course, in my earlier years I liked Corvairs (had a number of them including turbos)

the body is made of fiberglass and manufactured by Classic Motor Carriages (CMC).
VW pan/frame and motor

looks like they CMC went out of biz
