Great stock. took a quick look...too steep for my blood. Seems like they are due for a split - no?

Well, we got 11 folks picking stocks for 2008; anyone else?

It sure seems like a lot folks here have a winner after the fact. :D :D :D

LOL! No, its the real deal. I bought it at $9 in May of 07. Heard about it from a doctor I play poker with. Shot up to $18 with a new contract deal in November. I sold.

Its been a pretty good performer so far. Next quarter should be profitable so I'm betting it will hit $19. Buy at $15 sell at $19. Make 26%.

Time to back up the truck boys, its a fire-sale on the Street today

TerryBPP 01-08-2008 12:58 PM

ISIS @ 21.15 today!!!!!!!!! Was that a quick enough 27% turnaround for you hot shots. SELLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!

Esrx

MRM 01-08-2008 03:10 PM

I am delighted to be the hands down leader. 8 days into the new year and I am down precisely $2 on a stock that cost just under $18!

I did say it might go down a little further.....maybe I'll buy more with this spring's Keough contribution.

Porsche-O-Phile 01-08-2008 03:16 PM

How about puts on CFC and BSC?

I have a feeling that shorts/puts on those are going to be very, very good plays in the coming weeks. . .

Shadetree930 01-08-2008 04:10 PM

I am in for XRAY

white85carrera 01-08-2008 04:16 PM

*sigh* August 2003 sitting at the Seneca Lodge having dinner after a Trackmaster DE and ISRG came up in discussion. I was amazed at what they were working on and the price seemed too good to be true ( $15+/-).....watched a while then forgot about it until a year later when it was double. Thought I missed the boat then.......

kstar 01-13-2008 07:47 AM

I will add the new participants picks, but so far here is the current PPOT Portfolio as of the close Friday.

--oddly enough, P-O-P, the calls were the money. trading at roughly .65 (cents) a few days later, the merger was announced, those same options were/are trading in the $3.00 range!! That is some quick money!

the 01-15-2008 04:11 PM

How about an update on that chart.

How low can AAPL go?

MichiganMat 01-15-2008 04:12 PM

Time to back up the truck on AAPL, they've got plenty of room for growth.

WCG has seen some good returns in recent days! Bravo to the caller on that one
