LINE-X spray on bedliners what do u think?

If you have a truck, is it a must have?

If you have it, do you like it or hate it?

What do you say?

good stuff!

I wish that I could have done my trailer floor with it as well.

2-stroke fuel will stain it

Great thread topic, Randy! Been considering this for my 99 Dakota R/T. It's bright yellow and I think the jet black bed would look pretty hot, even though it's covered with a hard-shell tonneau.

The big question I have about mine is whether or not I should have the Line-X sprayed on over the bed sides, or just have it come up to the top of the inside walls. There is no weather seal installed on the top of the bed sides, but rather, they're incorporated into the top.

Decisions, decisions...

Randy

Randy,

I went over the rail on one truck and did not on the other...they can show you how each will look and you can decide which application looks best or works well with your top.

I've had Line-X on my Tacoma for 9 years and have spilled gas, diesel, two-stroke, etc. on it with very little effect! I've even dented the wheel humps and the stuff still looks great

That new show on Discovery, Smash Lab did a test, and the bed liner withstood 5lbs of demo explosive sitting on the rear axle.

I had my 2007 Silverado sprayed with Rhino Liner (their thicker/stickier formulation)...Stuff does not slide around at all, and I have not been able to hurt the finsh at all! Great investment!

I have dents yn my bed from huaking dirtbikes. Scrapes from shoveling out tons of dirt. Line-X will be on my next Chevy truck

After I need to replace my '02 Siverado, in 10 years!

My '02 Dodge Quadcab 4x4 came with a slide-in bedliner aand I always meant to remove it and spray a Line-X liner in it. I WILL do it this spring and I will have the supposed "UV protective coating" applied too. It gives the black a light sheen and to me, makes a huges difference. WIthout it the black eventually looks faded and sort of gray. I will pull my shell and the liner will go over the top of the bed side rails...since my truck is black anyway.

You know they wil color match your truck too? I haven't seen it but it supposedly matchs well.

+1,

and pay attention to where you are putting it where the tailgate closes if you are doing it yourself.

I've always had plastic drop in bedliners witrh rubber floor mats on the bottom to keep stuff from sliding around in my personal trucks. I had the spray in liner in a work truck, hated it. Sure it worked good but it looked like crap IMO. After a while it looked dirty all the time.
Give me the plastic ones.

Here's a use you may not have thought of...

When I was reworking the interior of my Fiat Spider, I stripped all the original floor coating out down to bare metal. After a few rust repairs and some sandblasting, I rhino-lined the whole pan. The stuff is very durable and waterproof, so I figure this is the best way to combat the Fiat's notoriously leaky top and notoriously rust-prone body (a bad combination!)

Additionally, the stuff helps deaden road noise.

We did my wifes truck F150 crew cab FX4 long bed, and it is really nice. I does get hot as heck in the summertime.

In reference to the poll, if you are going to keep the truck for a long time I think it is worth the investment, if not keep your money.

Line X stuff has held up well better than the Rhino lining on the last truck. i would recommend it. Do the rails, an area that seems to get the abuse.
