Teleconference company options: need opinions please...
I am looking for some opinions on teleconferencing companies. My wife is looking for a resource for her monthly teleconferences with clients. Looking for reliable, ease of use (+1), cost, customer satisfaction...
Let me know what YOU know please. We need something before last week of January. She has been looking, but is overwhelmed by the number of choices apparently out there. Thanks, Shane

If money was no object, Cisco Telepresence is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. It depends too on features and how many parties you want on at once, ISDN, Internet based, etc.. Polycom makes very good stuff and has been at it for a long time. I would make a list of requirements, then contact the Telco's in your area to see what they offer (you can usually get some good rates this way).
Good Luck

I guess I should have clarified a bit. She needs one that will allow others to phone in with a code to access either of two options: listening, or listening AND talking. Do the choices already listed above offer that. I will have a look at them tomorrow.
Thanks

By far the easiest is AT&T, price wise not the cheapiest but by far the best out there. Easy dial 877 number access code and you are conferenced. As the host you have four digit password you enter. You can control the conference as the host, mute all parties or allow interaction. I have an AT&T conference account use it all the time, spur of the moment as many parties as I desire, just have to email 877 number and access code.

AT&T has the clearest sound and never fail service IMHO. I also use skype but not with clients, telecons with my other offices.

I looked into this for someone recently and came up with:
http://www.freeconference.com/ For it to be free, the people calling in have to call a long distance number where they foot the bill. OR, you can pay $.10/min/caller and the callers can use an 800 number to call in free.

We're picking a new course management system, all the reps have been using WebEx - gives remote desktop and telephone in capabilities. Not sure on costs, etc. but very easy to use...
