No doubt you are doing something similar. Arguing with a child or a woman is suicide.

I think there a are a fair number of women who aren't all that interested in sex. As a college professor, you often have students come in for 'relationship counseling' - grad. students too, believe it or not. I've had several women say they are just not that interested in sex but love their boyfriends, yada yada.

Androgen levels are non-zero in women and vary somewhat. As a physiologist, I naturally guess that would be part of it.

when there is doubt, there is no doubt". Pretty sure that's a quote from DeNiro in Heat, but it's perfect to describe relationships
Good Quote.
DeNiro's character Sam said that in Ronin...not sure if it was from Heat too.

A great friend of mine whose no longer with us used to say, "You hear all these guys talking about how the sex stopped after they got married. That wasn't the case w/ my ex wife. She loved it & it was that way from the first day to the last. Just towards the end it was with other guys!"

THANK YOU! Ever since I typed that, it's been gnawing at me. Heat just didn't seem quite right. Ronin, great flick. Best car chases ever, pretty damn good movie as well.

After 2 weeks of "restricted" communications ... finally we decided to meet up. Well, worth it. Both of us had calmed down, had time to think things out, we both got to say much of we wanted ...

Things are back on track, and made sure she knew that I now have set my priorities and that I have set "goals" for myself that I will stick too. Of course, I repeated several times that I will not impose those goals on her. They are for me to follow ...

If it works great, but not, I walk.

Note to self:
I should have done this years ago with my ex ...

ahhhh ... the stupidity of youth.
lolo, I don't think that age is really going to help either though

Actually, when you selected the 2nd one, you were still using the same requirements, characteristics, profile, etc. as when you selected the first one. Coupled by your character, it is deja vou! And nothing wrong with this; we are all the same and we all do this.

IMO!

Might be so, but the fact that you're talking about things that are important to you now, before any real commitment will only enhance the relationship in years to come.

Two things before marriage;
1. Make sure you state all the rules of engagement; cause after you're married you don't get any say any longer.
2. Make sure you have a challenge or conflict so that you can see how the other person reacts. Laying out the ground rules for challenges is a very good thing, testing those ground rules is better.

FWIW, my first wife use to threaten me with the "D" word all the time. Threat turned into reality. My second wife and I have NEVER brought up the word, never.

Good on you Sapp, hope you're finding some real happiness!

Edit: sorry 'bout my englash?

it's time to walk when the cratch slapping stops, or you find a better cratch to slap
