Who will pay for the sin of murdering the unborn?

Today I wear black in protest of a war within our borders and on the most innocent of life, the unborn.

35 years ago today, the Supreme court issued a confused verdict on the life of the unborn. It was a compromise on when life begins and has rights. The court agreed with both the plaintiff and defendant and made a terrible decision to split the difference in an arbitrary date on when the unborn human gains human rights.

So, after 35 years who will pay for this sin of murder and war on the innocent?

I wish that I had the ultrasound pictures of my sons to share. Some of them were in 3D and pretty amazing, and all prior to 30 weeks.

The social security system will be relieved in a few years by the aborted humans not being there to collect.

Speaking of baby boomers, 2003 Census data showed 35.9 million Americans are over the age of 65. There have been 50 million legal abortions since 1973. Assuming 1.428 million a year (50 million /34) that would put an additional 22.8 million Americans at working age of 18 or older right now.

What kind of economic impact would this have had if 22.8 million more American workers were in the work force?

Doug, i read your initial post and said to myself 'preach it brother!!!'.

Then i read your post about soc. security, etc. NONE of those things matters a whit in comparison to one human life. not only are those assertions questionable at best they detract from your initial statement which i felt was beautiful.

I wonder. Sometimes, people get so wound up in issues like this that it becomes "black and white" (in many ways). I do not believe in abortion on demand, but I keep inmind a nuber of factors such as the responsbiltie(s) of the people seeking abortions, the lifestyle of some of the kids who would be raised in an environment with no hope, cruelity, abuse, and so on. It is such a complex issue that I do not see any way that it will ever be resolved to the satisfaction of all.

It's very telling that MANY women who have abortions experience psychological and emotional problems later in life. Also, excluding politicians, how many mothers and fathers do you see arguing in favor of abortion?

It's a sad sign of the selfish, immoral, self-serving society we live in. Screw up and get pregnant? Just kill it the baby. Sure, because the baby is to blame for your irresponsibility. What ever happened to adoption? I know several young couples that would love to have a baby.

As the father of two, it's a concept that makes me sick. I absolutely cannot believe that there are those in our society who feel it is ok to take the life of a child.

You’re assuming that all 22.8 million would actually be working.

What drain would those who aren’t working put on the rest of us who are? What drains would 22.8 million put on our natural resources? They’d all want gas in their cars, how much would the additional demand cause the price of gas to go up?
