Bloodsucking lawyers

So, I'm in the middle of a trademark dispute right now. We've filed an opposal, gotten a response full of lies.
Now, we're on to the interrogatory phase.

Instead of having the lawyer write up a series of questions for the other party to answer, I wrote them up myself - because he doesn't know the pertinent questions to ask.... He reworded them to "legalese" at a cost of over $1000...apparently, it took him six hours to read 30 questions and add a few words sch as "please define" to each question.

He also wanted examples of "confusion" from customers over the use of two people using the same mark.
I forwarded two emails from two different people asking if I was the other party...

The cost for my leech to read those two emails and do whatever he does with them?

$650. :eek At $250/hour, either this guy reads REALLY SLOW or he's milking me for all I'm worth.

A two minute phone call to let him know he's misspelled my name in the document is $36. The cost of him correcting his mistakes? Don't wanna know...

Bloodsucker.

You have just described one of the things that is so wrong in our nation. Most of the lawyers cannot really do anything nor do they contribute anything. These pricks have manged to get themselves into a position where the mumbo-jumbo bull***** that they call "legalese" allows them to charge outrageous prices. They often take advantage of people at their weakest and most vulnerable times such as divorce, death, or similar.

Most of it reminds me of the "pig latin" that some of the kids would learn at school to make themselves seem above others.

I think that when these guys go into store for a loaf of bread the guy behind the counter should be able to look up and pick out a number and say..."uh...that will be $31.50 please" or when they need a windshield wiper on their car the guy could say "That'll be...$53.75" or whatever comes to his mind.

Also, many lawyers end up in politics or as judges and around and around it goes. Truly the bloodsuckers of society. Okay, rant over.

You don't have to tell me!
I'm a developer, been working with the blood suckers my whole life.
If I could have all the dimes I've paid to lawyers for no darn good reason I could have that sweet GT2 I just saw in the random pic thread in MY driveway!

I have a client suing me right now, based on a total lie. I've no understanding what they hope to gain; but the lawyers are just having their day with it.

I feel ya pain buddy.

Joke:
Russian, Cuban, lawyer and Developer all jump into a cab together at a busy airport.
The Russian takes out an expensive bottle of vodka, takes one swig and throws the bottle out the window. The lawyer exclaims, "Hey! What are you doing? That was a perfectly good bottle of vodka?" The Russian replies, "Ah, no worries, where I come from, lots of vodka."

The Cuban does the same thing with an expensive cigar. The lawyer replies the same and the Cuban says, "No worries, where I come from, lots of cigars."

The Developer then man handles the lawyer and throws him out of the cab. The Russian and Cuban both exclaim, "Hey! What have you done?" The Developer replies, "Ah, no worries, I'm a Developer, where I come from lots of lawyers."

Cheers!

Going through the same thing sir.

I had to hire a lawyer and I am wondering what I am paying him for. Just yesterday I pointed out something to him and he seemed surprised. I though to myself wait a minute! I paid this guy close to $2000 to watch the same video I watched and why did I come away from it with damning evidence and he didn't.

So far I have paid this guy over $15,000 and we are not even close to trial yet, which is exactly where it heading unless the plaintiff backs down which is unlikely because he seems to be counting on perversion of justice.

you let the lawyers make the laws
no wonder it is this bad
as thats is a clear conflict of interest by them
lawyers are the last people who should make laws
simple test is a 12 year old should be able to understand the law

fix is simple
forget partys
reelect nobody
esp a lawyer
any lawyer
