Actually Mule, you have kept your streak alive and you are incorrect once again.

It is commonly accepted that "ignorant" is what can't be helped since ignorant people primarily either have no knowledge or no info.

On the other hand "stupid" people do have some info, facts, knowledge, etc but they simply do not or cannot process it correctly.

However, since you were almost half way to getting it right we will award you a bronze star with the hopes that you will some reach not only silver but gold status. Good luck ;)

I am at a major disadvantage as I was relatively stupid and ignorant before I ever found this place.

Ignorance is helped by education. Stupid, IE you, is irrevocable!

Put down the bong & get off the "high" road & maybe your posts will make sense!

Wrong again. Since stupid people often do have some info and facts but process it wrong...they can be taught logic and how to methodically make proper use of the facts and info that they possess.

However, one of the first steps is to not call yourself a dumb animal. :D

Ok... I'm new here. But I spent the better part of 2 hours reading this thread and the thread that caused this thread to be posted. I think that gives me the right to comment.
Both are very entertaining reading, thought provoking, and some posts even witty. But when witty turns to malice the entertainment value diminishes. The only thing Janus did wrong, IMO, was stupping to Mules level. I thought his 'essay' was very well written and yes thought provoking. But was it worthy of the threat of litigation? GEEZZZZ boys and girls. In the words of the famous Rodney King.... "Can't we all just get along?" Unfortunately the answer is no. It's not in humans nature to be a kinder, gentler person. We will always have the Mules of the world to keep us honest to our true nature.
I also went through the 31 pages of pics in the Jack Olsen self-portrait thread to see how many actually have the testicles/ovaries to post their pictures. Put a face with the sword if you will. Not to many. I'd wager to say if everyone had to put their picture up prior to a post we'd have way less bickering. But then where's the entertainment in that? ;)
FWIW...

Hello Shaun, it's a pleasure, I'm also a big fan of the 240Z. We're in the same neck of the woods. Maybe one day we can share a beer or 7.

Shaun @ Tru6 02-09-2008 07:09 PM

Hey Mark, that'd be great. I grew up in Haddam and go back as much as I can to see my Grandfather. Will let you know the next time I'm down, could probably swing over 66-3-2 and head home on 395, would be a pleasure, first one's on me.

Nice post BTW.

I've been a bit hesitant about posting my photo for fear it would prompt some of the more heartless folks here to ridicule my appearance.

But I guess I am among friends and I'll try to show some emotional strength.

Ha, ha; pricelessly funny!
My mugs in Jacks Thread, the Family Thread and many others.

If we're picking sides; I'm on Buckterriers/Mark's team!!!

BTW, all kidding aside; I agree with him too. One of the things that makes this board so much different than other boards is the accountability of the posters. Like I've said before, somewhere someone knows someone that knows someone that knows you! If we all knew that one day we'd be squatting sadly in front the might rath of Buckterrier, we'd be alot nicer to each other.

I vote accountability.
Let the other trolls take a flying fish fart and go post somewhere else. ;)

I also drove a 240Z for many years and owned many other D-Z models.
Love those 240's though!
Cheers,
