You will be fine.

Do you worry about getting in a horrific car crash every time you get on the interstate? Of course not. Bad things do happen, but you can't dwell on the possibility.

I've been under the knife more than a couple times. Relax and enjoy the pharmaceutical-grade high.

You will be fine.

Best wishes,
Martin

Don't sweat it. You'll be back posting pics of your stashes in no time. Is there any possibility of a local instead of general anesthetic?

I was going to make a joke about you leaving me one of those factory titanium rods, but since you seem genuinely worried, I figured I'd hold off until you're back posting again.

Look at it this way, if you've had crappy luck lately, then you've probably used enough up so that you're quota is too far gone for anything to happen in this surgery.

Its just fine, you will be up and around, pulling that rear suspension off for me in no time

I have been knocked out so many times to have kidney stones busted up I cant count! Just make sure you get a big jug of Vicodin sent home with ya

Have you been knocked out before? thats the key, if you never had any problems its ok, but I still pray for ya!!

Just pay the doc what he wants. Don't try to trade anything for the services and you should be fine.

Good luck.

Good luck, Byron. Had some of the same feelings a few years ago for prostate cancer surgery. Doctor was the best and recovery was very quick. Will someone be there when you come out?

Well seeing as you are 3 hours ahead, you should be coming out about now. all the best.

The older you get the more you become aware of how fragile you really are. Now my question is, am I in your will?

I hope for the best for you. I wouldn't let worry stress you out. Anesthetics are much easier on the system today. My 92 year old mother just went through some surgery and came out fine.

Yep, much easier than expected, coming out wasn't nearly as bad as the last time I was put under(that was the part that I was worried about)
Just in the last months I have been having chest pains & my breathing has gotten worse, add the death a 2 friends last week makes you think.

I called Byron yesterday after he was back home just to make sure everything went well. First chatted a bit then as his latest pain med kicked in you could tell that things were getting nice and soothing again. Modern living through medicine!

Glad everything worked out and you are your old feisty self!

Joe
