$500 944…bought it, fixed it gave it to my wife for Christmas. She drove it for about a year and said there was 27 stop lights between home and work (manual gear box). Then it sat around and just got used occasionally til we sold it.

$75 notchback purchased when I was in the Army in Germany. Bad engine…$125 for an “almost new” KD engine and drove it all over Europe. Probably be worth something today if it’s still around. I haven’t owned too many cars that didn’t need some kind of work before I could drive them!
