Is this a recent picture? This is 907-005, right? Looks like the tail has been returned to original configuration.

With ships that long and high:
1). Winds go one way.
2). Current go one way.
3). Ship goes straight ahead.

I've seen designs of articulated versions, and ones with outriggers to prevent roll.
Somewhere in the engineering there is a proportional balance.
