Falling off is NOT good, you always go over the front and your legs are trapped under the handlebars. I was in a parade in Kansas once -I think someplace close to Hutchinson- and endowed, man the ride home on the plane was painful.

These were not mine, most of the pictures were taken at Dean Hennsley's house in Pasadena

Saturn 5 rocket. The most powerful rocket EVER built!! 360 feet high. Stage one with its five engines developed 7-1/2 MILLION pounds of thrust (about 30 747's at full power)! All of this to launch three men and 102,000 pounds to the moon. I was blown away as a kid when this was going on, and I'm blown away now.

You should come visit us here in Houston, I'll take you to see the last remaining one, up close at the museum

It's hard to fathom how freaking BIG that thing was until you spend 5 minutes walking the length of it...and then see where 3 frail human beings sat on the end of that REALLY BIG BOMB.

Pazuzu, you forgot about the Sat V in Huntsville at the Ala. Space & Rocket Center http://www.spacecamp.com/museum
...Also a Sat. I in upright configuration . Growing up in Huntsville in the 60's, they would announce in all of the media when they were going to be testing the "motors" of the V's on the test stands. Between that and the blasting at the nearby limestone quarry, we had plenty of noise & rumbling!

Transportation pics: Here is a picture of "Spencer", Winston's littermate as a pup. His owners in England own 8 antique cars, among them this 1902 Westfield. I've also attached a picture of their other Blenheim Cavalier "Hector"posing on it as well.

Wasn't that one just a test mule? The one we have here at Johnson Space Center was going to be Apollo 18. Let's fight over this!
