This was probably one of the first M5s in the L.A. area. It belongs to someone in my building and I've seen it gone maybe 4 times since it first appeared. He hardly ever drives it. I came home today to see he had installed the radar diffusers on the front bumper...for all that high-speed driving he does in downtown.

Yeah well the radar in the people's republic of Santa Monica makes for expensive tickets & the points add up. :-/
As for the 1st M5 in LA.. literally would have to be one of the gray market '86 I know came in ahead of later USA production. Fun times those were. :-p
