Did Piech build the 917 12? And for that matter, who conceived the 6 - Fuhrman? And what happened to Fuhrman - did he last till the water cooled era. About the only thing I know about him involves the 4-cam.

Piech was pretty much responsible for the race program between the 904 and the 917/30. Fuhrman came back to run the company in the late 70s.
