Looking for Hilton Head rental for next week
My wife has a conference at the HHI Mariott next weekend. We have to be there Thursday night, 3/6. Originally I thought, we could make a weekend out of it and take the 911. But, it has been a while since we took the kids anywhere, so we thought let's do that instead. I am looking for preferably a beach-front home to rent. Has to sleep 8. I am willing to consider other possibilities, but that is the basic criteria. We need it at least 3/6-3/9, and maybe through 3/13. I have been looking on line and while there is much available, my head is starting to spin from looking at the various options. Anyone done this and can offer some advice? We are form the west and this would be our first trip to the island.
Also, being that I will have the kids all day for 3-4 days, aside from the beach what are the must see and do things on HHI? Thanks in advance!

You should try www.Resortquest.com We used them last year in the Outer Banks. Very easy to deal with and a fairly large selection ( at least in OBX). We stayed at the Westin in HH a couple of years ago, it was nice but I think you have the right idea going with a house. The weather can be iffy in March, having a house gives some flexibilty in daytime activities over a hotel room.
