Are They Nuts

McCain-Clinton-Obama. Are these people really the best the USA has to offer. Are we really supposed to take this election serious ?

Hey ejfbmw, I was just emailed your new password by the website. Some kind of glitch I guess.

No more or less so than Bush/Gore or Bush/Kerry. . .

Politics is almost never about "who's the best", it's usually "who's less bad" or "who will do the least amount of damage".

I can't say I'm terribly displeased with an Obama-McCain match up. Of course my standards have been driven rather low in the last 8 years......

Yeah, its hard to believe that the only remaining Superpower in the world can't come up with anyone, on either side who is much, much better. I think Bob Iger CEO of Disney) , or Jeffrey Imelt (CEO of General Electric) would be really good choices. Maybe what we need is like what many ciities have, a Mayor (Elected) and a City Manager (Selected).

anyone better is too smart to run and anyone worse has been vetted out - doesn't leave much behind...
