Cool video. I'd love to know what kind of drivetrain that thing has. Sounded supercharged to me - definitely not a stock 914.

No supercharger, the whining you hear is the ring and pinion. That car is pretty tricked out. Havent seen it in a few years though.

That was just a 2.8?
Damn. I was either thinking forced induction of some sort, or possibly a very large 911 engine (3.6L or thereabouts). The way he walks those guys on the STRAIGHTS is impressive. I expected a handling advantage on the curves, but he flat out pwnz them on the entire track.
