Any Iron Maiden fans?

Normally, I'm a blues guy through and through. Very little heavy metal do I like.
But when it comes to Metal, I like Maiden.

Just bought tix to see them for the first time. I've been hoping they'd come to town for quite a while.

Thank you, to the wife, who spotted that they're coming.

Love Maiden! I got to hang out with them around '93 or so. I need dig up those photos. I don't know why it took me so long to see them, but '93 was my first Maiden show. I had no idea they were coming around again. Who's in the line-up?

I live in Melbourne (Australia) and just went to see them when they toured here last month. Brilliant, brilliant stuff.

Why are there giant testicles hovering over Castle Grayskull in that first pic?

I like Iron Maiden, too. It's only recently that I've discovered that, though.

Most people grow out of it. Not everyone though.

I'm 38 now, and started listening to Maiden when I was in 7th grade. Though I mostly listen to punk, alt-country, indie, Brit-pop, classic rock, down tempo trip-hop, to name a few, the Maiden has stuck with me.

My 10 year old son loves it when I spin my Maiden vinyl for him. Judas Priest, Megadeath, Slayer, Pantera, and anything from the Bon era AC/DC (not metal but still killer) usually ensues! OH THE HUMANITY...

Up the Irons!

Saw the Seventh Son and No Prayer for the Dying Tours. Truly one of the great metal bands of all time. I wouldn't mind seeing this show, but I am seeing Rush a couple days before and I had to make a choice.

When it comes to Rush, I pull out all the stops. Saw them six times last summer and am arranging business trips around the west the next two month to catch a few more of their shows. I'm even going to the Red Rock show with a client and probably Albuquerque with my boss.

I´m going to see Maiden this summer here in Norway.
I´m also seeing Whitesnake, Dio and Glenn Hughes.
If I can find the time (and the money) Bon Jovi, Kiss and Status Quo are also visiting Norway this summer.

Bruce (Dickenson) is an avid pilot; I've actually hung out with him a few times at my old flight school back in my CFI days. Very knowledgeable guy. Has his own Cessna 421 Golden Eagle and has done the trans-Atlantic flight himself a few times.

Like their music too.

Rush is in my top 2.

I had two guys I went to college with who were fanatics. They both played guitar. One year we all rented a house together. Just imagine the late night jam sessions.
