Very tempting. If this were part-time, I might be able to do it. I'm moving to Phoenix next week and will be home-based, but pretty busy getting set up there and doing some travel.
Here's another excellent tech info source - http://www.dorkiphus.net/porsche/forumdisplay.php?f=41 We've debated selling ads on this site for a while, but decided to just take up collections now and then so we can still freely discuss vendors and shops, who might otherwise sponsor us and not want to hear bad things about themselves or good things about their competitors.

Wayne, great idea on the Wiki. Once you have that put together, it will be a HUGE asset to the Porsche community.

Interested. Sounds like the kind of thing I could see myself ditching my current "grind" for. . .

Oh bugger. I was hoping you were looking for a company pediatrician. You do have a lot of young Mexican boys on your pay roll, don´t you!

Great idea Wayne, I think it'll work out well. We just implemented a few various wikis at the office for internal document management and knowledge base creation and they are working out great.
We're just using ScrewTurn right now, it's free and it works for our purposes, but I'll probably be playing with more in the future, and would like to see what you go with too. If you decide to split up the job into multiple editors, I'll work for gift certs. Just don't have 40hrs a week to throw at it.

Yep, Wayne you are right this is basically right!
However, I wonder if it might not be a good idea to split the job into 2-3 ... then you could hit the people that would be interested in this as a part time job (as in, those who would put fill effort but can't put the total amount time into this project that is going to be required). Benefit would be spreading the job description out to people more skilled in those areas, better focus in those areas that they are assigned to, larger base of applicants, ideas could be shared and batted around, if there was a range of applicants especially being an international team you could target the true "www" instead of just the "English" market and if "a" person were to quite for some reason the others could proceed and cover for each other. Since you'll be adding functionality to the main site you could also take the oppurtunity to update and integrate all functions on a deeper level : cart - forums - wiki - ect lolo, are you thinking of attacking the Haynes market too ![]() Actually, I am interested ...

I would definitely be interested in it part time and I don't need the benefits.

DID you know?????
In order to interview, you have to of course send your resume .... BUT .... have to include: picture of you in the standard -- I dropped my engine position picture of you in the standard -- I bought Waynes book, giving it the thumbs up approval It was recommended that holding the book with thumbs up in your engine bay was given extra points! ![]() wahahahahaha
