Two ways to be a good Republican:

1. You have to believe that your vote for George W Bush has been worth the grief of the past 7 years, 2 months...and counting!

2. Or you have to try to deny number one above.

I dunno. I know quite a few Republicans that are pretty dissatisfied with GWB.

No party affiliation here either way, just sayin'.

Since there really is no way to say algor or kerry could have done better, in hindsight, what would you do?

3. You can't believe in evolution because there is a monkey in the Whitehouse.

4. Prepare to take a Democrat to a bar next November. They will want to drown their sorrows and cry on your shoulder at the ineptness of their Party ...losing the White House ...AGAIN!!!!

Or set up a suicide watch for your Republican friends if the Dems do win.

Scott,

That will not be needed. Should either of the wonderful Dem candidates be elected, give them a month in office and someone will decide that they have had enough and try to 'off them.

As Mo Gearhead says, its sure not looking good for the Dems again. Neither of their offerings is stellar (course that could be said about McCain as well) and its really voting for the best of the worst. You are correct that there will be a lot of crying on the Dems side this Nov 8th IMHO....

What could they possibly do that might equal the fiasco of the past 7 years?

Seriously...what?

I voted for GWB twice! But I'm very unhappy right now. I look back and say Al Gore or John Kerry, and I'm not all that sure things would have been better. Do you?

Am I the only one that feels this post is a juvenile response to my "22 Ways.." post? It seems to me that you would fare far better by arguing that you feel the 22 points are valid rather than just poking fun at the current president.
P.S. For the record, I don't agree with everything that W has done but I still think he did a better job than the sex pervert before him or the pathological liar that he ran against when he won his first term.

Wi Fat rear end,

Read the above post and think about it for a while.... We had Gore or Kerry, and both of them are worthless as tits on a boar hog, but if you like them and their kind, then pls move to the right or left coast and find a tree to hug.

If you really want a Clinton, any Clinton back in the White House, then you are a lot sillyier than I thought you were.

I am in the same boat but I can say that bush was still a better option than Gore or Kerry. With Bush you got a couple of good judges and a tax cut. The war will eventually end but their programs would linger like the stench of the New Deal.

Seriously, you can't handle serious. They could pull the troops out in 60 days and leave a vacume for Iran, Syria and Turkey who has already been there.
Seriously, they could bring a few hundred thousand Iraqies here and not have a clue if they are AQ operatives or not.
Seriousley, one or both wants to enact some crazy health care system.
This is Obama and Hillary we are talking about just in case.
You might think it has been a fiasco but we have no idea what/where we would be with algor or kerry. You still haven't answered that.
they really could make things worse. Maybe not, but it can happen.

Let's do a little test and take a trip back in time and do a comparison:

First think what the the years 1992-2000 gave us.

Now think what the years 2000-2008 has wrought.

effect = cause? That's some awfully simplistic thinking.

So you think that this thread was a response to your "22 ways..." thing about the Dems?

Gosh, whodda thunk it?

Well len, just switch it around and make it "cause=effect" if that works better for you.

Yes actually, I prefer logic. Giving Clinton credit for the 90's is weak....damn weak.
