I'm just a casual observer here, don't cost me nothing, aint been around all that long and far be it from me to pitch an earnest ***** about how this freebie BBS is run....but - there are a number of regular participants here who regularly post such vile bile and crude, nasty whatever, that it doesn't seem just to ban someone who is mainly vociferous, argumentative and at odds with a lot of the political mindset here, pretty much calls names back when names are called at him and has never even approached the level of crudity and crass tastelessness that those who I refer to above resort to on practically a daily basis.

+1 I didn't agree with WI personally- i've had a run in or three with the guy, but we do have to keep a level playing field - otherwise it turns this board into a popularity contest - and that will do more to damage visitors to this board in the long run.

We need the occaisonal weirdo in here to keep the place lively.

you can't please everyone...

there also are communications that don't happen on the boards. Not every interaction is public. You'll just have to trust us. In general we bend over backwards to let people stay. But at some point enough is enough.
