my favorite corolla quote:

(background; he was talking to a young lady on LL. she was into S&M. she even called her boyfriend "master".)

adam says," i would love it if my girlfriend called me master..well unless she was a black chick, because then it would just be wierd" i blew coffee from my nose. the man saved my nightwork stint.

I think I'd toss in Simon Cowell, he was great on the episode of Top Gear where he raced the beater around the track, and wouldn't be afraid to call something rubbish I wouldn't think.

Clarkson owns a Ford GT which he loves. I don't think he's a big Porsche fan though

I'm willing to give him a chance, but from where I stand, he's a cheeseball, car collection aside. The 'Man Show' was a new low for TV -- truly an embarassment for all involved, though I expect their profits for bringing toilet humor to our cretin populace were substantial.

You will see his full on bias against anything American in his video "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly". The only thing he likes is the Ford GT, but then credits it with its German wheels, Italian brakes, British gearbox and body, Aston Martin steering rack, chassis setup by Lotus... I know... it's all in fun.

Maybe Adam will have a segment on the show called “Who the F builds this S”
I listen to his show in the AM where he sometimes talks about his cars, even pronounces Porsche correctly!

Not to turn this into a political discussion (please please don't), but here's a bit of Adam Carolla's radio show and how he handles Ann Coulter.
This gives me a bit of hope about Adam not sucking up to car companies for advertising dollars.

I guess it's Clarkson's job is to be divisive and opinionated. Thats what makes the show good. At least he doesn't tip toe for fear of pissing off sponsors.

I have to say the chemistry of TG England is why it works. Hopefully they can get someone that can hold his own with Corolla and not just let him dominate the conversation and go on one of his pointless rants.

How does Adam feel about having the same name as a Rice Burner?

The guy has worked is ass off to make it and seems like he's down to earth. After thinking about it...he could be good if the two others could hold their own on the show. I think he was really good on Loveline because he was able to play off Dr. Drew really well and there was huge mutual respect. That didn't seem to happen with his radio show....cause he is not Howard Stern.

Maybe they could get Dr. Drew on Top Gear. He could be Captain Slow.

Actually I'll still watch the BBC version and will give this one a shot.

Actually wit wise - he has a smiliar delivery to clarkson - alot will depend on who they team him up with.

He has an independent movie coming out too called The Hammer, which he is going on dancing with the stars to promote. The movie is semi-biographical as well.

Clarkson sold the Ford GT.

I also agree that it is the way the three of them interact. I am going to hold judegment until I see the other two.

I don't know. 90% of the interaction on Top Gear seems to be Clarkson-Hammond. May seems to be a wallflower most of the time.
